 ozlem guzel ballet and music school, founded in 1996, is working in cooperation with several international associations such as Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).
Along with almost thirty professional teachers and with emphasis on Human Resources, ozlem guzel ballet and music school, exemplifies a leading and modern school in its field. Our school has shown support for recently founded schools in several cities such as Bursa, Ankara and İzmir along with schools in Istanbul; it also is known for acting as a good source in helping its own teachers in preparing for several examinations for a higher education and have specially formed a department that coordinates RAD and ABRSM activities, all of which show the unifying aspect of our school and the importance our school gives to the quality of ballet and music education.
On the other hand, the educational structure of our school depends on collective work such as company classes and ensemble classes.
ozlem guzel ballet company, founded in 2002, acts as a leading young company in order to meet the need of professionalism in ballet. The dancers of the company are coming from the company classes of our school. The company has perefrormed lots of classical and romantic ballets, and modern dances in several places.
chamber music group of ozlem guzel ballet and music school, founded in 2004, has made up of junior and intermediate students. The aim of the group is to be a school of chamber music orchestra.
The music department has piano, violin, violinchello, guitare and vocal branches.
ozlem guzel ballet and music school has 7 age groups of 4 Year, 5 year, 6-8 year, 8-12 year, 12-17 year and 18 and above. Beginning age differs according to origin in all branches. The graduates are allowed to work as a teacher all around Turkey and the world.
In Ballet Department, the teachers are willing to collaborate and work with the ballet teachers of other countries about the “Teaching Methods, according to the age goups” and, the “Lesson Techniques with the small age groups”.
In Music Department, the teachers are willing to collaborate and work with the music teachers of other countries about the “Teaching Methods, according to the age goups”, “Different applications about the development of creativity in the lesson” and, “Exchanging sources about the music history and special features of the musical pieces”.
We, as ozlem guzel ballet and music school, has moved to our new place called ‘pembe kosk’ by October 2005 which is much more modern. Pembe Kosk is a historical palace of 3rd level but restorated which has its own garden and has 4 floors and 20 rooms.
